Group Programs
Small Group Programs
Play School has
developed a unique approach to childhood
development. Based on small group interaction,
children are taught problem solving,
assertiveness, responsibility and leadership.
These skills are fundamental for developing
young minds into the successful leaders
tomorrow. The small group programs are
an innovative approach to developing
these skills in your children.
Monthly Themes
Each month, Play
School presents the children with a
new theme. Some of the themes from the
past have included the body, the world
and the solar systems. These themes
are designed to broaden each child's
understanding of the world around them,
and their place in it.
Music and Movement
Through the medium
of music and movement, children are
taught how to improve their physical
interactions with the environment. Musical
cues are used to develop listening skills.
Co-operation is also a huge part of
the Music and Movement program.
School Preparation
Academic development
is one of Play School's core values.
With a focus on literacy and numeracy.
Play School prepares all children for
academic success. Using Applied Behaviour
Analysis skills such as care for their
own belongings are taught, which will
enable each child to function successfully
after the transition to school.
